## Technology: efficient by design

Alice & Bob pioneers the cat qubit, the first qubit with built-in error correction. Alice & Bob is the only player in the industry focusing exclusively on cat qubits, and holds more than 70 core patents on cat qubit technology.

Because the cat qubit suppresses bit-flip errors at the physical level, a cat qubit architecture can reach the same error protection that a transmon-based logical qubit would need more than 1,000 physical qubits to achieve, with 50 or fewer. There is a consensus among physicists that superconducting cat qubits are in a strong position in the race to fault tolerance.

## Coming soon: Helium

Helium is Alice & Bob's first error-corrected system, built around an error-corrected, under-threshold logical qubit.

## Roadmap: early FTQC for high performance computing

Alice & Bob's roadmap spans five chip generations: Boson, Helium, Lithium, Beryllium and Graphene, targeting 100 high-fidelity logical qubits by 2030.
