Paris, France – June 26, 2026: Alice & Bob, a leader in fault-tolerant quantum computing, has been selected to join the French Tech Next40 for the second year in a row.
The program selects 40 French scale-ups each year that best embody technological excellence in service of the public interest while contributing to economic growth.
Alice & Bob joins companies including Mistral AI, Back Market, Alan, BlaBlaCar, Electra, H Company, and Pigment in this year’s Next40 cohort. Together, the companies in the program have created tens of thousands of jobs in France and abroad, while the majority maintain an international presence.
Alice & Bob employs more than 250 people across its Paris and Boston offices, representing more than 33 nationalities, with the majority of its workforce based in France. Between September 2025 and April 2026, Alice & Bob completed a hiring plan, hiring 100 employees in seven months.
Recognition of Innovation
The 40 companies are selected from the program by a committee composed of:

- Mr Clément Gobet, Head of Startups & Scaleups Ecosystem, France Digitale
- Mr Michel de Lempdes, President of France Deeptech and Managing Partner, Omnes Capital
Selection for the Next40 is based on demanding criteria. Eligible companies must be headquartered in France, founded on or after 1 January 2006, privately held, financially robust, and able to demonstrate innovation, independence, and a commitment to environmental and societal responsibility.
Innovation is at the core of Alice & Bob’s strategy. To support its research and development initiatives, Alice & Bob is proactive about seeking the patents necessary to protect its intellectual property. Alice & Bob holds more than 70 patent families, approximately a quarter of which have at least one granted or allowed application.

Companies selected for the French Tech Next program receive tailored support to accelerate their development in France and internationally, while helping them address both operational and structural challenges.
The French Tech Mission implements more than 250 follow-up actions each month, structured around five key areas: financial planning, strategic and commercial partnerships, regulatory support, international expansion, and increased visibility through public and private sector networks.
